Now...At 3:41 pm...National weather service doppler radars detected
scattered showers and thunderstorms affecting sections of eastern
Oklahoma...With isolated showers across west-central Arkansas. The
most concentrated of the activity was across portions of osage...
Pawnee and Northern Creek counties. General movement was toward
the south and southeast but very slowly.
Through 5 pm...Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms are
expected to continue. Areas along and to the north of a chandler
to copan line...As well as southern le flore...Pushmataha and
choctaw counties across eastern Oklahoma will have the greatest
chance for this activity. However...Isolated development is
possible anywhere within the forecast area. Isolated thunderstorm
development will also favor franklin and southern sebastian
counties of west-central Arkansas during this time. The stronger
storms will be capable of very heavy downpours...Gusty winds to 40
miles per hour and dangerous lightning.
