Now...Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue to affect the
midsouth this afternoon. Through 630 pm...Rainfall will be heaviest
in a thunderstorm over tishomingo county in northeast
Mississippi and a thunderstorms over craighead county Arkansas.
A few thunderstorms with heavy rain are over hardin county Tennessee.
Heavy downpours from thunderstorms can produce around an inch
of rain in an hour...So flooding will be a real possibility.
Otherwise...Rainfall in the other showers and storms will generally
be a quarter of an inch or less. Scattered showers and storms are
dotted around the rest of the mid south. All the rain is moving to
the north...Northeast.
